The rich history of our beloved Academy
Founded in Dibrugarh, Assam, the North Eastern Fire Service Academy (NEFSA) was established under the Government of India and registered in accordance with the Societies Registration Act of 1860 and the Government of Assam Trust Act. Affiliated with the Government of Assam, Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department, NEFSA stands as a pioneering institution dedicated to fire and safety education in Northeast India.
From its inception, the Academy has carried a clear vision: to empower unemployed youth by equipping them with professional skills in fire prevention, safety management, and emergency response. Over the years, NEFSA has become a trusted name in the region, producing graduates who serve in industries, PSUs, government departments, and international organizations.
